What we do
We rescue the abandoned, the beaten, the injured, the terrified, and the betrayed—offering a lifeline when they need it most. We fight for their second chance: for healing, safety, care, and the love they were once denied. No matter the time it takes or the cost we bear, we refuse to turn away.
The team

Focus
Teamwork
Non-profit
At Pawmates Rescue we are focused on helping stray animals in Greece giving them the care and support they need. We work tirelessly in many different ways, including providing funding, shelter, vet care, supplies, guidance, resources, and education and rehoming them in Greece or abroad through organizational support.
Pawmates Rescue is new, however, we are experienced and have been working with rescue organizations for many years. We are willing to work with and help all individuals or associations that are fighting for the same cause, also we welcome the assistance of every individual or association in Greece or abroad.
Pawmates Rescue operates entirely on a non–profit basis, driven by a shared commitment to the welfare of stray animals. Every donation and contribution we receive goes directly toward providing food, medical care, shelter, and support for strays in need. We dedicate all resources to making a meaningful difference in their lives.
Against all odds
Our love for animals gives us the strength to keep going—even when everything seems against us.
We face outdated state policies, indifference, and even hostility from those who don’t understand. There’s no funding, no proper facilities, and no support from the state.
On top of that, we struggle with our own personal problems, full-time jobs, and the constant lack of time. But still, we rescue, we heal, and we fight for every stray life.
Because compassion isn’t just a feeling—it’s a choice we make every day, and it’s what gives us the strength to do the impossible.
