Smoky

Story

Smoky was born by a Stray mom, a shepherd mix. They were living in the countryside, near a village. It was a very dangerous spot. Older males attacked the little ones. This is why one of his ears is cut.

He was the weakest and smallest of the family and the others bullied him. When he appeared to have an eye infection, we decided he had to be taken from there, in foster care.

In his folder there are pictures of his family.

Smoky is very easygoing. He is quiet and friendly. He likes to play with other dogs. He is safe for kids.

His sister is adopted in Denmark. The family has a teenage daughter and they sleep together. 

They also have a cat. They have rabbits and Lara became friends with them. When the one died, she slept over the place where it was buried.

Personality

Smoky — a gentle and kind soul in the body of a slim, athletic stray. Unlike many dogs, Smoky avoids conflict entirely: he never fights over food, retreats from aggression, and cannot handle violence or rough play. He is quiet, obedient, and a little shy, with a calm presence that makes him especially safe and trustworthy around families.

Because of his soft nature, Smoky often becomes the victim of bullying from stronger dogs, but he never fights back. His kindness and discretion shine through in everything he does — he prefers peace over conflict and harmony over competition.

Smoky is the perfect companion for someone seeking a calm, loving, and gentle dog. With patience and care, he will blossom into a loyal friend who only asks for a safe space and kind company.
