Story

He was found on a deserted road, standing guard beside his brother who had been struck and killed by a car. Alone in the middle of nowhere, his loyalty kept him rooted to that heartbreaking place until help arrived. Though his beginning was marked by loss, his spirit refused to break.

Personality

From that day on, Socks has shown nothing but courage and strength. Today, he is a happy, vigorous, and loving dog who embraces life with joy. He’s independent yet affectionate, always ready to shower his people with devotion.

He’s food-motivated, playful, and adores his toys—each one is a little prize he carries proudly. While he doesn’t always get along with other males, his heart is wide open for humans who will love him as much as he loves them.

He is proof that even out of sorrow, resilience and hope can blossom.

Socks is growing — and he’s thriving! He’s now healthy, happy, and no longer alone in the middle of nowhere.

He’s a gentle, sweet, and intelligent boy who loves food and cuddles. But he’s also quite strong and energetic.

He will need basic training and guidance to  a balanced and well-behaved adult dog.

Socks has good manners, gets along well with female dogs, and is full of joy and curiosity.

He’s not a fan of sharing his food — and we totally understand why.

Now he’s looking for his forever family — someone to offer him love, security, and stability.

Someone who will invest a little time to guide him, and in return receive a heart full of love.
